I’ve just come across a WordPress theme that I wanted to share with you, it’s called Amedeo and it is a full-featured, multi-concept creative theme. I’m not sure how I missed this one the first time around, it has been out for about 6 months now and it has a perfect 5-star rating on ThemeForest. That’s a really good start. It’s also been downloaded nearly 400 times, making it quite popular for what it is. It’s a little bit more expensive than many themes like it, priced at $75. But, you get the support and documentation from elated themes, one of the better developers out there and one that I believe that you can trust with your money.
The name Amedeo reminds me of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Amadeus was Mozart’s middle name, it means lover of God. In fact, what it actually means is for the love of God. No matter which definition you choose, it means basically the same thing and the design, I think tries to reflect that concept. Amedeo’s design is meant to be a light and bright, airy and attractive style that has a sort of heavenly appearance. I think that the designer has done a really great job of bringing that concept to life in each and every one of the pre-made demo styles.
And as I mentioned, this is a multi-concept theme, meaning that it works for a wide variety of websites.
To be honest though, most of them or simply creative sites, this is not one of those themes that offers you a million different business day. Here’s what your website would look like if you are selling Sushi. Here’s a design for selling cargo pants. Here’s another design for a construction company. Here’s one for dating and matchmaking. You got the picture. This scene is all about creativity, helping to highlight your projects in a release stylish wedding. The whole thing has a bit of a art gallery or an art museum feel to it. For the right type of artist, this could work absolutely perfectly.
In terms of the features that are offered by this template, you get a very easy to use admin panel, it’s powerful and easy to adapt to your side tool just like you wanted to look. Each and every one of the demo Styles can be imported with just one click, the design itself is responsive and retina ready. With your download package, Slider Revolution and WP Bakery Page Builder are both included. You get extensive typography options, simple color change options and a multitude of short codes. Some of those short codes include portfolio list, vertical portfolio list, 446 lighters, portfolio category list come up masonry, gallery come upload more pagination and infinite scroll pagination. It really does have a lot to offer in terms of features.
All of the most popular and important social media networks are included, the theme supports video, typography is strong and easily adapted to your needs and, in short, everything about this team is highly adaptable, highly flexible and it’s going to look great on all devices thanks to its responsive nature.
Here is what the themes developer has to say about Amedeo. I always find that letting the developer speak for themselves is an important part of revealing these WordPress themes.

Before we get too far into this review, I’d like to take a look at some of the pre-made styles that are included. This theme offers 15 different pre-made homepage Styles, each of them can be imported and installed with just a single click from the admin panel. That makes this multi-concept theme a really great choice for beginners, if you are not entirely certain how to create your own look or layout, simply pick one of the attractive, pre-made designs that come with your download. Install it and you will be up and running quickly.
Here is a look at the sort of generic homepage style, think of this as the baseline that all of the other design concepts are based off of. It’s got a clean, professional look and I think that it makes a great starting point for constructing any sort of creative site.
There’s also a very nice-looking personal portfolio design concept. It’s sort of similar and that it has a great looking, very basic Style it doesn’t get in the way of your creativity, but it perfectly accentuates what you are already doing. That’s one thing I really like about Amedeo.
You can check out our full collection of portfolio themes to see more great options for presenting your creative work. We have gathered up a significant number of themes with a lot of different styles and Designs, so if Amedeo is not right for you, it’s always a good place to look for other options.
There is a well-organized portfolio gallery style, laying out your images and projects in a well-ordered grid. The sidebar is on the left in this case, meaning the navigation is always going to be easy for everyone who visits your website.
Here’s a look at the basic eCommerce set up, one that they call the shop home page. It has a very clean style, a true modern blog feel where eCommerce is a big component, yet it’s not the only thing important on the page. This is a nice blending of features.
We have a significant number of eCommerce themes in our collection on the topic. There are hundreds of different styles and varieties of WordPress e-commerce templates out there, so I’m Amedeo might not be great for your site, but there are plenty of other options. Take a look and let us know what you think.
Here’s a full screen digital studio design, It is Well organized and it helps to make your images really the star of the show. Of course, with any sort of visual based business, images are incredibly important. Amedeo never forgets that.
Check out our full collection of agency themes here. We have tried our hardest to find a lot of great themes that work for a variety of different types of agencies, not the Amedeo isn’t a very nice theme, it’s just not going to be perfect for each and every website or each webmaster. Everyone’s needs a little bit different, which is why we have tried to find themes with quite a different variety of styles and features.
Amedeo’s art gallery home style is a little something different. You’ll notice that e-text overruns the images, it’s a really modern look and feel that I think could work for a lot of different types of portfolios. If you’re not afraid to do a little something different, this look for lights great impact and doesn’t take anything away from your content.
Like any true multi concept template, Amedeo includes a full screen slider style. This helps to prevent your most important content up top, right where it belongs. Just like the others, It is Well organized and well-designed. I am noticing that this theme swerve requires a small logo, I’m not entirely sure how great it would look with a larger logo or something that is like a wordmark. Something to keep in mind. Here are some additional full screen themes to check out for more options.
How about a little something different? This is the metro style portfolio look. It has the Metro layout without using many of the Metro colors, so I think that it’s really more of a masonry grid design, rather than a true metro style. Depending on what you want, you might want to take a look at our collections covering those subjects. Some people are looking for true metro, some are looking for masonry. Check them out to see the difference.
If you are in need of a theme for an art Exposition, this design is one you are truly going to appreciate. It’s very clean, it gets all the important information up front and like all of the Amedeo demo styles, it’s incredibly easy to navigate.
The text on the screen mentions Rene Magritte’s painting called The Lovers, but the image isn’t of that painting. They got the year right, but I guess that painting isn’t in the public domain? Who knows! That’s just something curious, no big deal.
One layout style that is pretty unique but beginning to get more of a foothold in the world of WordPress is the horizontal layout. Amedeo has a really nice example of this, highlighting artwork any sort of timeline Design.
I will be the first to admit, these horizontal style layouts are not going to be for everyone. It’s a very specific style, and I don’t think they’re works for anything but highly visual websites. It’s great for portfolios, but plugs are not going to benefit from this type of layout.
I think that the vast majority of the concept WordPress themes offer a parallax showcase style and Amedeo is no exception. These Parallax themes do a good job of presenting your content and fun way, giving a little bit of dynamic appeal to your content without distracting from what is most important. It’s a nice way to blend text and images on the page together.
This interactive links look is a really fun one, this is a very navigation friendly design style, meant to prominently place your links on the front page. I think that it could work wonders as a sort of landing page for any type of creative portfolio or creative company website. Looks like you’re going to need some short titles though, you can’t be linking to something like best WordPress video themes.
Here is a unique take on an e-commerce site, The Divided shop layout. It’s a really interesting one, I’m certain that it’s not going to be right for everyone, but it does present products in a really interesting way. Could be great for a fashion line? Maybe jewelry? Something along those lines, I think it’s going to look perfect. I doubt that this is great for some home electronics or digital downloadable products.
Here is the artwork home. I’m not entirely sure why they have waited until this far to show this design, it almost feels like this should be the basic portfolio style that Amedeo offers. No matter how long you have to wait for it, it still looks really nice, it is well-designed and well-crafted, a bit simple but it does a great job of presenting visual contact in stunning way. This theme itself is so flexible, there’s really a lot that you can make happen without even needing to be much of an expert.
And finally comes a WordPress vCard design, a nice way for any artist to put their best foot forward. It is a bold design, using a large, full screen image to act as a sort of visual handshake with visitors to your page. You can highlight your recent work or any work that you feel is most important in making a great first impression. This theme has such a mix and match style, you can use any of portfolio styles with any of these pre-designed Concepts it’s a really nice mix of options and pre-defined styles that are great right out of the box.
