This is Cannes. It’s a WordPress theme named for the famous, stylish city in the South of France. I’d say the namesake WordPress theme is pretty stylish as well. This theme was clearly designed for food blogs, but it works just as well for personal or travel blogs, maybe even fashion blogs. Whatever you need Cannes to do, I think it’s going to help present your content the right way, clearly blending text and images to deliver a knockout performance.
Here’s the description of Cannes provided by the theme’s developer.
Clean, bright, and classy, Cannes is an airy WordPress magazine & blog theme designed to stage your content in structured elegance.
The minimal style and color palette of this blog design means that the template will provide a structure that will work excellently for blogs. Moreover, the easy readability will make it a joy for your readers to discover your content.
Pretty cool so far.
Here’s a look at the front page.
Cannes has a variety of header styles, different blog layouts, a variety of grid layouts for your posts and projects. It’s responsive, simple to adjust and it looks really modern and professional. It’s priced right too, it’s got an introductory price of just $29, but that’s sure to go up in the coming days or weeks. This theme includes WP Bakery’s Page Builder, it’s compatible with Bootstrap Components, it offers some slick promo boxes for sharing important content and there are a whopping 16 different blog layouts.
If you’d like an even cheaper alternative, we’ve got something you might enjoy. It’s our completely free WordPress theme and it’s called Oregon.
Have a look.
This free theme has a lot of the same features that Cannes has, so I think it’s well worth taking a look at. Let us know what you think.
