Kerge, Clean, Simple WordPress vCard Themes

This theme is named Kerge.  Now, Kerge isn’t a name many people would self apply where I come from.  Because it’s a made up word, I have absolutely no idea what Kerge is supposed to mean.  That said, I do like what I see in general, so it’s worth a little bit more of a look to see if it’s got what it takes to be a strong WordPress vCard theme or if it’s just a pretty face.

This is a WordPress theme that is great for resumes and v-cards, it is an online tool to help promote yourself. Looking stunning on every device, that is the goal of all WordPress themes, this one pulls it off. There are eight unique demo Styles, light and dark versions and it is compatible with the most recent versions of WordPress. One click demo installation, Unison framework, a drag-and-drop page builder, animated and multi-page versions, 35 short quotes. This theme has it all. There are even 67 cool looking page transition effects and access to over 800 Google fonts for your typography need.

Here’s a look at what Kerge has going to it on the front page.  (PS, I feel like Alex Smith is sort of the new John Smith, it’s shown on a lot of themes as a sort of ‘generic white guy’ name.  That’s got nothing to do with anything though.

Here it is.

Oh, ho, ho.  Looks like they took my advice and changed the name to Resumé, rather than sticking with the oddly named Kerge.  Well, better late than never.

If you would like to take a look at some more themes that are similar to this one, personal blog and portfolio templates that are meant to act as vCard, take a look at our WordPress vCard theme collection. It almost stands to reason that that is where we would keep the card and resume themes.
